Surface Book & Surface Pro 4 - Microsofts First Laptop

Microsoft entered into the laptop making business by introducing its first Laptop called Surface Book and Surface Pro on 6th October 2015 at its Windows 10 devices event. Microsoft calls it the fastest ever and already it is being seen as a possible challenger to the Apple MacBook Pro.
Surface Book has an exterior magnesium casing and is detachable 2-in-1 with a “Dynamic Fullcrum” hinge and it weighs at 1,516 grams. Microsoft is promising 12 of hours video playback battery life with the Surface Book.
The 13.5-inch screen comes with Pixel Sense display at a resolution of 3000 x 2000 (267 PPI), aspect ratio of 3:2. This is a touch-enabled screen with 10 point multi-touch.
It also has a 5 mp front-facing camera and an 8 mp rear-facing camera with autofocus, with 1080p HD video recording.
In terms of storage, Surface Book comes with SSD options of 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB. 
The processor is 6th Gen Intel Core i5 or i7 and the graphics in i5 is Intel HD graphics 520, while there’s also the option of NVIDIA GeForce Graphics Processor with i5/i7.
The RAM options are 8GB or 16GB RAM. Additionally the Surface Book has a TPM chip for enterprise security. 
Surface Book support WiFi 802.11ac Wi-Fi wireless networking; and is compatible with 802.11a/b/g/n, it supports Bluetooth 4.0 as well. Ports on the Surface Book are two full-size USB 3.0, full-size SD card reader, SurfaceConnect for charging, headset jack and a mini DisplayPort.


Surface Pro 4 is 30 percent faster than Surface Pro 3 and 50 percent faster than Macbook Air. Like the Surface Book, it has an exterior magnesium casing and comes in silver colour.
Surface Pro 4 also has a TPM chip for enterprise security. It runs the latest Intel 6th Gen m3, i5, or i7 processors and comes with 4GB, 8GB, or 16GB RAM options.
For graphics, the Surface Pro 4 has Intel HD graphics 515 with m3 processor, Intel HD graphics 520 with i5 and Intel Iris with i7 processor. Dimensions of the Surface Pro are 11.50-inch x 7.93-inch x 0.33-inch and it has a 12.3-inch PixelTouch display with a resolution of  2736 x 1824 (267 PPI).
Microsoft is launching the Surface Pro 4 is 4 SSD options:  128GB, 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB.
